Home care options for pulmonary management
At HealthFlex, we have assembled a team of pulmonary care specialists who work with each patient and family, plus the patient’s primary doctor, to design a personalized program for at-home care. Our goals are to help you manage the symptoms of COPD (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and improve your quality of life.
HealthFlex Pulmonary Care Services
- Offer the expertise of a certified respiratory therapist for patients on oxygen therapy
- Educate patients to recognize changes in symptoms early and take timely, appropriate action
- Provide medication reminders and help with administration of medication and oxygen therapy
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing and dressing
- Assess each patient’s home to remove or modify any factors that can worsen the pulmonary condition
- Teach energy conservation techniques to alleviate symptoms such as shortness of breath
