Illness or trauma can affect a person in a variety of ways: psychologically, emotionally, physically, and financially. HealthFlex California-licensed medical social workers go above and beyond, helping patients and families with a variety of needs. Sometimes, this means arranging meals and transportation after a hospital stay. Other times, it involves providing psychosocial support, identifying financial assistance resources, or arranging grief counseling.

Patients and their families turn to our medical social workers for easy-to-understand explanations of treatment options, in-home healthcare resources, and policies. We help find additional treatment options and provide assistance in coordinating other services throughout our community.
