Enriching, Engaging, and Empowering Caregivers

In-Home
Caregiving Service

Why do individuals require in-home care? Maybe an elderly family member needs help with housework or errands, or perhaps they have a condition like ALS or dementia that makes it hard for them to do daily tasks. While we all hope to remain healthy, happy, and independent, there are times when life has other ideas. People can get injured or have surgery that leaves them disabled, unable to move, and needing care at home for months or the rest of their lives. HealthFlex is here to help, no matter what.

Our caregivers are fully insured, background checked, and professionally trained to uphold the highest standards of care.

HealthFlex Provides Housekeeping Services

If you need help taking care of yourself safely, keeping your home clean and habitable might be problematic.

If you’ve ever been hurt or sick at home, you know how hard it is to keep up with the daily chores. At HealthFlex, our caregivers help give our clients the peace of mind that these tasks will get done. Their skills can make a big difference in how stressed the client’s family is. We will help take care of many of the day-to-day tasks, so the family can take it easy and spend time with each other.

HealthFlex Provides
Companionship Services

People need short- and long-term family caregivers, so home care services must be tailored to each person’s needs and preferences. When you put your trust in HealthFlex’s highly qualified team, you can be confident that you or a loved one will receive the best enriching, engaging, and empowering in-home care.

When our home caregivers walk into our clients’ homes, they are not only there to perform their job but also to provide companionship and warmth to our clients.

Uplifting care and friendship for your loved one

At HealthFlex, we know how important socializing and having a friend can be for the mental health and well-being of seniors. This is why we have created an adaptive companion care program.

Engaging with others and building relationships with friends, family, neighbors, and people in the community can help reduce depression symptoms, ease feelings of isolation and loneliness, and even lower the risk of dementia in older people.

This is the first that I had your services. I have many others before, but yours are the best. The nurse took her time to help me and listen. By the time, she left I was feeling great.

I am extremely grateful for the care provided by your nurse and physical therapist. Both are caring, capable and devoted professionals. More important, they are good people. Because of these two, your company is highly recommended.

Special thanks for the excellent care I received from your physical therapist and nurse. I have been in other home health care systems and this is (by) far the best I had. Please let them know how well they are doing.

What is Companion Care?

Companion care, also called “companionship,” gives emotional support, friendship, and the chance to meet new people. Some common tasks of home companion care are:

R
Conversations and activities that keep your mind active, like playing games or listening to music
R
Sharing breakfast, lunch, or dinner
R
Together, do light activities, like going for a walk in the park or spending time outside

By spending time with our caregivers, your loved one has a friend who can help them stay social and get back to doing the things that make them happy.

Caregiving with HealthFlex

Not only do our clients receive professional and compassionate care, but they can also stay in the comfort of their homes. In addition to personal care, hygiene, and housekeeping, they can maintain their:
R
Comfort
R
Confidence
R
Dignity
R
Independence
HealthFlex is a one-stop shop for all kinds of caregiving services. Our team of professional and experienced caregivers makes it easier for your loved ones to stay at home and still get care when life gets hard.

Incontinence Care

Incontinence is a common condition among seniors. It can be caused by things like medicines, stress, constipation, and other health problems. Also, older people who have Alzheimer’s or dementia often have problems with incontinence. Incontinence in older people can be treated with medicines, planned trips to the bathroom, fluid and diet management, and pelvic floor muscle exercises.

Social Activities

We offer free activities and social events so that your elderly loved ones can stay socially active. Here at HealthFlex, we can let them join regular fitness groups, social groups, or craft classes that will help them stay healthy and meet new people. We make sure they have enough supervision and help so that we can meet their needs when they need us the most.

Personal Care

Loss of mobility, disability, and long-term illnesses can make it hard to do everyday tasks. Even though this is most common in seniors, it can cause stress and other difficulties.

At HealthFlex, people matter, and we believe in helping our patients alleviate their stressors.

Whether stress comes from difficulties in mobility, illness, or a disability, we are happy to help assist our patients with personal care tasks like grooming, personal hygiene, taking a shower or bath, dressing, brushing hair, brushing teeth, and nail care.

Transportation Services

We help clients get to and from their scheduled events and appointments.

Seniors may find it harder to drive as they get older and as their health problems get worse. Family members aren’t always there to drive them to their appointments.

HealthFlex Caregivers offers clients transportation services to help them get to doctor’s appointments, run errands, or go anywhere else they need to go.

We help your loved one get where they want to go quickly and safely while making sure they are comfortable.

What is the Difference Between Home Health Care and Caregiving?

Home health care offers skilled medical care services in the comfort of your home. Services include nursing, therapy, and social work. On the other hand, caregiving services provide non-medical care to help people live independently.

Caregiving services include companionship, light housekeeping, personal care, and assistance with activities of daily living.

When we give care with kindness, skill, and dependability, we help our clients and our caregivers improve their health. Helping others can lower your blood pressure, make you feel less stressed, and give your life more meaning.
