Caregiving with HealthFlex

Incontinence Care
Incontinence is a common condition among seniors. It can be caused by things like medicines, stress, constipation, and other health problems. Also, older people who have Alzheimer’s or dementia often have problems with incontinence. Incontinence in older people can be treated with medicines, planned trips to the bathroom, fluid and diet management, and pelvic floor muscle exercises.

Social Activities
We offer free activities and social events so that your elderly loved ones can stay socially active. Here at HealthFlex, we can let them join regular fitness groups, social groups, or craft classes that will help them stay healthy and meet new people. We make sure they have enough supervision and help so that we can meet their needs when they need us the most.

Personal Care
Loss of mobility, disability, and long-term illnesses can make it hard to do everyday tasks. Even though this is most common in seniors, it can cause stress and other difficulties.
At HealthFlex, people matter, and we believe in helping our patients alleviate their stressors.
Whether stress comes from difficulties in mobility, illness, or a disability, we are happy to help assist our patients with personal care tasks like grooming, personal hygiene, taking a shower or bath, dressing, brushing hair, brushing teeth, and nail care.

Transportation Services
We help clients get to and from their scheduled events and appointments.
Seniors may find it harder to drive as they get older and as their health problems get worse. Family members aren’t always there to drive them to their appointments.
HealthFlex Caregivers offers clients transportation services to help them get to doctor’s appointments, run errands, or go anywhere else they need to go.
We help your loved one get where they want to go quickly and safely while making sure they are comfortable.
What is the Difference Between Home Health Care and Caregiving?
Home health care offers skilled medical care services in the comfort of your home. Services include nursing, therapy, and social work. On the other hand, caregiving services provide non-medical care to help people live independently.
Caregiving services include companionship, light housekeeping, personal care, and assistance with activities of daily living.
When we give care with kindness, skill, and dependability, we help our clients and our caregivers improve their health. Helping others can lower your blood pressure, make you feel less stressed, and give your life more meaning.
